Badminton
Badminton has been played at Disley Sports club for approaching 100 years. Today, players of all abilities are welcome at the club.
Club nights throughout the year are:
Mondays (Men & Ladies of all abilities welcome)
Wednesdays (Ladies only 7pm-8pm, all members 8pm onwards).
Coaching for U14s is on Saturday afternoons from 1pm until 5pm. Please ring Stuart scoffins (01663 763948) for more details.
League teams:
Four teams play in the Stockport & District League, and three teams in the Manchester League.
Home match nights are:
Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday nights from 7pm, September to March.
Ladies social badminton takes place on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday mornings from 10.30am- 12.30pm.
Mixed social badminton is every Friday from 8pm.
The court is available at most times to all full club members on an half-hourly basis with a maximum consecutive booking of two hours. A new court booking system is being implemented. Members are invited to register and can then book courts up to two weeks in advance. To view the booking calendar click here.
